How I can help:
As a queer, transgender therapist, I strive to create a space where you can simply show up as yourself. You don't have to spend our sessions explaining your identity or wondering whether you'll be understood. My goal is to help you reconnect with who you are and build a life that reflects your values, not just your survival strategies.
My approach to therapy
My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in an anti-oppressive, culturally humble framework. While practical tools can be helpful, I believe lasting healing comes from deeper self-understanding, reconnecting with your emotions and body, and learning to live in alignment with your values and identity.
In our work together, I’m interested in not just what you’re experiencing, but how your relationships, lived experiences, and broader systems have shaped the ways you learned to adapt, survive, and see yourself. I approach every client with cultural humility, recognizing that I don’t assume to know each person’s lived experience, and I strive to understand how experiences of marginalization, privilege, culture, and identity intersect in each person’s life. I often ask questions like: who taught you that you had to be this way, and what has it cost you to live that way?
