The Heart Behind Chester County Therapy Collective
Born from friendship, clinical experience, and a vision for a supportive mental health community—for clients and clinicians alike.
How We Started: Two Social Workers, One Shared Vision
The Chester County Therapy Collective began with a lasting friendship between two social workers, Katheryn Brauckmann and Jessica DiIenno. Over the years, our bond carried us through life’s biggest transitions—graduate school, marriages, parenthood, divorces, relocations across state lines and countries, and navigating the unexpected challenges of the pandemic.
Through it all, we were each building our own independent therapy practices. We quickly learned a reality that many mental health professionals face: graduate school teaches you how to be a skilled, compassionate clinician, but it rarely prepares you for the complexities of running a business.
We adapted, learned, and built sustainable practices from the ground up. But we also realized how isolating that journey can be—and how much better it is when clinicians have a true support system behind them.
Why We Created The Collective: Strengthening Our Community, One Relationship at a Time
The Collective was born directly out of those experiences. We wanted to build a warm, grounded space where:
Therapy Clients receive heartfelt, high-quality care from skilled clinicians who feel supported, refreshed, and aligned with their work.
Clinicians & Therapists get the practical business strategy, clinical consultation, and community needed to grow a thriving practice without burnout.
We firmly believe that when therapists are empowered as confident business owners, the quality of care in our entire Chester County community elevates
